Canberra is the capital of Australia, based between Melbourne and Sydney. There is the Parliment House, National Gallery, The National Science Centre and some great shopping and food plus much more to see. It is a great holiday destination for the whole family.

 This is the main business centre around Civic where you can also find inner city shopping and parks to escape to. The Institute of Sport is also in this vicinity. There are Executive Suites, Hotels or Apartments to especially suit the business person and conferences.

 Including the suburbs Braddon and Downer plus the CBD area as described above.

Inner South

 Including Deakin, Kingston, Barton and surrounding suburbs this is an area with plenty of places to eat and shop. The area comes alive at night especially at the Kingston or Manuka strip - where you can have your choice of restaruants and shoppping. Located only minutes from the New and Old Parliament House and the centre of Canberra which houses all the major icons such as the National Museum and Library. A great area for tourists to explore from of foot or by car, you can find Hotels and Guesthouses to relax at on your holiday.

The National Gallery of Australia

Over 100, 000 pieces of mainly Australian art, Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander art, Asian art and International art plus visit exhibits which change regularly. 

Open daily from 10-5 - admission to the main gallery is free.  

 New Parliament House  Located on a 32-hectare site on Capital Hill it is the focal point of Canberra.
 Old Parliament House  A heritage attraction of Canberra which houses different exhibitions and the National Portrait Gallery. Open daily from 9-5.
 The National Science and Technology Centre "Questacon" located on Lake Burley Griffin, is a great place for the kids as it aims to make an experience with science and technology fun, educational and interactive. Open daily from 9-5
 The National Library  Australia's largest reference library which collects and preserves material relevent to Australia's history.
 Kingston & Manuka Shopping Villages  Choose from many restaraunts and shops in these leafy suburbs of Canberra. You can also visit the Old Bus Factory Markets situated in an old industrial building in Kingston. These markets have local food, artwork and crafts definately worth stopping for. 
 Commonwealth Par k and Floriade The parkland home of Floriade - the flower festival not to be missed held every year during October.
