Australia, Sydney - Reasons to visit Print E-mail

Beaches, famous Icons, shopping, museums, walks and great restaraunts. So many things to do in Sydney, this itinerary should help you to plan your stay.

DAY 1:

Breakfast on the Dee Why beachfront

Swim and snorkel at Shelly Beach, Manly and have a snack at the kiosk

Catch the ferry to Circular Quay and dine at one of the many restaraunts down by the Opera House

 

DAY 2: 

Climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge at sunrise

Wander around the Rocks Markets for some tourist shopping

Go shopping at Darling Harbour and then have a drink and a meal at Cockle Bay Wharf

 

DAY 3: 

Early Yum Cha lunch in Chinatown

Go shopping in Newtown or Glebe markets (Saturday only) 

Dine on some good Italian at Norton St Leichardt

 

DAY 4: 

Take a drive to Palm Beach - Sydney's most Northern Point and walk up to the lighthouse

Hang out at Avalon Beach, shops and the cafes for brunch

Hire a sail boat or catch the ferry around Pittwater and have an early picnic dinner at the Basin

  

DAY 5:

Take a drive to the Blue Mountains

Hike to the Three Sisters rock formation

Lunch in Leura for a real laid back mountain experience 

 

DAY 6:

Have an early swim at Bondi Beach then do the Bondi to Bronte walk

Have fish and chips at Watsons Bay then a drink at the pub

If you're really keen you can twilight sail on Sydney Harbour

 

DAY 7:

Visit Paddington shops and markets (Saturday Only) for more upmarket shopping and cafes

Book a show at the Opera House or one of the many clubs such as the Basement.
