I have got to say, until recently I have been a CD person. I am religious about purchasing all my music legitimately. I then burn them onto my Mac, so I can play it on my portable device or sync with my Apple TV. A few weeks ago, I bit the bullet and signed up to one of the online music systems, iTunes.com. Wow, this is dangerous I have bought 5 albums in the last couple of weeks. This is way up from my usual music buying patterns which are usually a couple of CD's a month, if at all. So where to now??? ....
Perhaps there is a Music Purchasers Anonymous forum.... ehhhh, not sure I should go, they may corrupt me and get me to start "swapping/stealing". BTW, I have even purchased the odd single song... For example, I wanted a few Johnny Cash songs but did not think I could stomach a whole CD... this is very cool. So I am getting over having to have the physical little CD in my hand, as one of my mates told me is so important. Perhaps, I am just catching up on those months I did not purchase any CDs? Funnily enough I have been purchasing older albums: Pennywise/Pennywise, The Whitlams, Guns N' Roses and an old Powderfinger album. Viva the online music world! BTW, I did notice that iTunes has a "monthly allowance" for kids... perhaps I need to apply that to this big kid??? thoughts? |
