Down Syndrome Event with Craig Wing
Sunday, 06 April 2008

Even though we couldn't stay all night, we went along to the kids party put on by Down Syndrome Association of NSW as part of the annual fundraiser "On a WIng and a Prayer" on the 2nd April 2008. What a fabulous event venue at Dalton House overlooking the harbour. The kids were entertained by fairies and had their faces painted and then the special guest of the evening came to say hi and shown the kids they were helping why. We personally got to meet Craig Wing who has put in a lot of time into organising the event when he got invoved as his sister has Down Syndrome, Steve Waugh, Mikey Robbins, Ray Martin and Mario Fenech. Many other guests were also at the event and helped raise about $250,000! Thanks to all those involved as this is a great organisation that really keeps us all up to date and provides information and networks for all the stages of our lives.
